in today's post, i'm gonna talk about luck.
yes, good luck, bad luck, whatever luck.
recently ive been spotting some lucky streak, it's waning though, but nevermind.
went prawning with er some time back, i think thats when it all started.
at a certain prawning place (i shall not name names, in case they want their money back!),
the damn bangladeshi workers like to oogle at girls, needless to say, not so attractive girls like me were oogled at too.
and when paying for my rod rental, he actually charged me a whopping total of $6 for 3 hours of play.
ah, those who know prawning well will think $6???!! well thats f-ing cheap!
thats what you get for getting oogled at, and thus receiving the delightfully wrong amount of change.
(before i continue on, i would just like to say that i was damn broke and did not intend to return a single cent, not even for the next few incidents.)
case 2, tomiemie and i went for dinner at a certain bubble tea cafe establishment, and upon receiving a $19 bill, i proceeded to hand the young lady $20. she gave me $11 change back.
sweet.
case 3, dinner again with tomiemie, this time, we ordered takeaway from a certain pizza parlour, and left our contact number so that we'll be informed that the order was ready. when picking up the order, no one collected money from us, and we left. however, later the outlet called us up and pleasantly asked us to make payment asap.
imagine if that didnt happen. lol.
well, lunch with colleagues took us to a certain prata place with a 4D shop beside.
this uncle parked his car and went in to buy 4D, and lo and behold, the parking auntie came along and fined him. one of my nice guy colleague was gonna stop the auntie, but was too late, as the uncle came rushing out of the store just as the summon was being printed. tsk, parking auntie.
so what did we do? being typical singaporeans, we bought the uncle's car plate number for the wed, sat and sun draw.
hope we win. ha.
